Meet Wally and Dave. They're as opposite as two buddies can be. Wally (Richard Pryor) is brash, loud mouthed and blind. Dave (Gene Wilder) is quiet, mild mannered and deaf. Both of them are individual disaster zones. But together... they're even worse!
When a murder takes place right under their noses, Wally and Dave are the only witnesses. The trouble is, Wally didn't see it, and Dave didn't hear it, and all of a sudden they're both wanted for it!
In a series of hilarious incidents, Wally and Dave manage to outrun, outdrive and outwit both the bad guys and the entire New York police force.
